The artist combines digital and analogue techniques to bring the landscape to life in a unique way. On the one hand, his digital plein air works are created directly on site – spontaneously, evocatively and full of observations of light. On the other hand, he devotes himself with great precision to traditional linocut, in which the same motifs take on a new, graphic clarity. Between quick sketches and patient craftsmanship, he seeks the essence of the landscape: the interplay of nature and time, surface and depth. He is driven by the attempt to capture both the fleeting nature of a moment and the quiet permanence of a matured environment.
For the artist, drawing is far more than mere representation – it is a means of delving deeper into lived experience and anchoring it in his own consciousness. Through the intense observation and recording of landscapes, whether digitally in the open air or in finely crafted linocuts, he sharpens his perception and slows down time. Every moment captured in a drawing becomes etched into his memory, transforming into an active recollection that does not fade but instead grows richer within him. In this way, the artist enriches his life – by seeing, experiencing and remembering it more consciously. His art thus becomes a repository of lived moments.
